Spaghetti less spaghetti

I love pasta. My body does not love pasta.
So there is spaghetti squash. It re-heats better than any gluten-free pasta configuration I have tried.
Cutting through a spaghetti squash can count as cardio, so you need a serious knife.
I just heard about cutting it into discs to cook and then twirling out the "noodles".
I think I will try this out, now do I make it with browned butter or sausage and puttanesca sauce?

I vote sausage and puttanesca!
I typically substitute pasta with steak.

Steak is always welcome. It might be cheaper than eggs.

A co-worker shared a spaghetti squash recipe the other day and it looks like it has enough cheese in it to cover up the fact that your actually eating a vegetable. It's Keto as well.

I might have to give it a whirl.

I could do this as well. It most definitely needs meat to work in my house. I wonder how it is with bison meat?

Why ruin bison? It is best grilled with cracked pepper a dash of salt and (real pure) butter to finish .
easiest way I found to do spaghetti squash is cut it then use a mandolin to julienne or shred it. I make a killer Alfredo sauce to go over it! Recipe available for anyone interested.
Why have I not considered using the mandolin slicer on that gourd beast before? Genius.
I found these last week at the local grocery. We did it with a pesto sauce and chicken, and it had the closest to actual spaghetti texture I have had. However, I did not reheat any as leftovers were not an option as the package is small. You definitely would not mistakenly make spaghetti for 40, like with dry noodles!
