Oh man, I can't dip fries in mayo. I mostly use ketchup but also love me some ranch or A1 with my fries

Mayo with chili is quite a good combination if you get the blend just right. It is extremely common here (more common than ketchup in the last few years).

You also frequently get "pickle mayonnaise" which is kind of a simpler tartar sauce. It actually is better than it sounds.
