Holiday Snacks

Do y'all have any "must have" snacks for the upcoming 4th of July holiday or anything that's a tradition with your families or circle of friends?

For us it will be chips and queso and some sort of homemade ice cream (I've not decided on a flavor yet). Not a tradition by any stretch of the imagination but they both go really well with chili dogs.

I grew up on the coast with a very large family and we really didn't have any 4th of July specialties. Grilled seafood was always a given during the Summer because it was usually too hot to cook inside but I don't recall any special snacks. 🤔

We started doing our Freedom Tacos last year. We go to a local event that is basically a tailgate in the park (huge park). We set up a pop up shade tent and have our things prepped already. Then use a little butane camp stove to heat up the shrimp. Then naturally, chips and guac/salsa to be washed away with beverages of choice.
Kids love the cherries, twizlers, blueberries and marshmallows. See the color rep?

Not gonna lie, when I saw "Holiday Snacks" my brain went directly to the Little Debbie Christmas Tree cakes. 🤣😂
