They should have given them a better name like whackers or something. They jump up and hit you! There is an abundance of them in my area. I have not consumed any that I am aware of.

I am tempted to try it, this is the top feeder carp, not the bottom feeder junk carp so better to eat.
They just pulled a few hundred pounds of them out of our lake last week as they push out all the good fish.
The fisherman who let me take this pic said they smoke this carp and it is tasty.
